Darjeeling rather than Bordeaux, Assam rather than Rioja, tea is making a name for itself in high-end cuisines the world over. Try out, discover, experiment. Different porcellaine cups are designed for different tea varieties.A single-cup tea strainer matching all different cup sizes, an “aroma cover” is also part of the collection. To prepare tea, the lid is removed and placed next to the cup. Tea and water are infused. While the tea is brewing, the lid can cover the cup. This has the advantage that the tea does not cool down and also makes serving easier. After the tea has drawn the appropriate time, the sieve is taken out and placed in the lid. For a second infusion the strainer can be put back into the cup.

Tea is precious, varied and individual. These attributes determine the design collection WMF Tea Moments. The glass teapot of the design collection “Tea Moments” has a stainless steel grip, while the strainer is concealed in the patented lid from which it can be easily removed.
