A system with brains.

evoBase - this is a completely new product concept of a medical-technical head support system for neurosurgical operations. The system ensures that the patient's head is 100% fixed during the operation.

The innovative product design inspires with an operating concept that is tailored to the user in every detail: Three adjustable pins allow more flexibility and thus a higher accuracy of fit when fixing the various head sizes and head geometries. A precise, integrated torque meter guarantees that the skull is fixed as gently as possible and that the pressure on the bone is not too high.

Another unique selling point of evoBase is the new spider made of wear-free stainless steel. Due to the choice of material, it is much more durable than an aluminium gear rim and, with its 90 teeth compared to the 40 teeth previously used, it also enables much finer and more precise adjustment and adaptation to the best position of the skull.

The new, patented synchro tensioner is also particularly innovative. With its help, it is now possible for the surgeon to secure three different swivel joints at once with just one hand movement (and without the help of an assistant). The central lock, which can be easily removed after fixation, also ensures absolute safety during the entire operation.

The use of solid titanium gives the system high strength combined with low weight and maximum corrosion resistance. Compared to other materials, titanium is significantly more durable throughout its life cycle and in the cleaning, sterilisation and maintenance process and is therefore also more cost-effective in the long term.
