Still a must-see: "Dieter Rams. A Look Back and Ahead."
In the second half of the 20th century, the German industrial designer Dieter Rams designed more than 350 products for the Braun and Vitsoe companies, which still have a great influence on younger designers today.
Rams is not only interested in the actual form of everyday objects, but also in the significance of products for people and society. How should our world be designed in the future so that it can still survive? On the basis of about thirty objects selected by Dieter Rams, as well as one hundred photographs and texts, he attempts to provide answers to this question in the exhibition.
The exhibition can be seen until January 16, 2022 in the Museum Angewandte Kunst, Schaumainkai 17, 60594 Frankfurt am Main.
