AED Jurysitzung 2025

29/04/2025

The ‘aed neuland’ design jury meets in Stuttgart.

With the support of the Karl Schlecht Foundation and other sponsors like Atelier Brueckner, Phoenix, German Design Council, studiokurbos and Werner Sobek, the aed (Association for the Promotion of Architecture, Engineering and Design) is organising the interdisciplinary design competition for young talent ‘aed neuland’ for the tenth time.

The independent jury consisting of 20 recognised experts from architecture, engineering and design in the five disciplines ‘Architecture + Engineering / Exhibition Design + Interior Design / Product Design / Communication Design / Interaction Design’ will decide on the awarding of the sponsorship prizes under the supervision of Silvia Olp, Dr Frank Heinlein and Dr Petra Kiedaisch. The ‘Product Design’ jury is made up of Dina Gallo, Lutz Dietzold, Nils Holger Moormann and Olaf Barski.

The focus of the ‘neuland’ competition for young talent is deliberately interdisciplinary. "The competition is intended to specifically promote outstanding young designers at the start of their professional careers. At the same time, the presentation of the award-winning works is intended to give the general public an insight into the breadth and diversity of design," emphasises the initiator, Silvia Olp. The young talent competition has been organised by the aed since 2013.
