09. Hessen Design Competition 2025.
This year, we are once again supporting Hessen Design Competition as a mentor and jury member. The competition for young designers is being organised for the ninth time by Hessen Design, the competence and consulting centre for design, and is sponsored by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Housing and Merck'sche Gesellschaft for Art and Science The eight-member jury consists of Dominik Langhammer, Barbara Glasner, Jonathan Radetz and Carlotta Stoll as well as the mentor team Christine Fehrenbach, Prof. Annette Bertsch, Kurt Friedrich, and Olaf Barski.
In addition to forward-looking and outstanding design achievements by young designers, the competition focuses on the joint development of future perspectives. It is characterised in particular by the fact that, in addition to the attractive prize money awarded, the prizewinners receive long-term support through individual mentoring and professional coaching, creating a basis for a successful design career and further developing the personalities and projects together.
