Red Dot Design Award 2021 for Slidesafe
SLIDESAFE is a new, ergonomically shaped push handle from Schäfer Trennwandsysteme for public WC facilities. It can be intuitively and easily moved with one hand or the elbow, making it very easy to use even for small children and elderly people.
As the handle does not have to be touched with the palm of the hand or the fingers, the transmission of germs is sustainably reduced. The red/white indicator on the outside of the door clearly shows whether the cabin is free or occupied. And inside the cabin, it is also possible to see immediately whether the door has been locked.
