German Design Award for Hailo Harmony
As the name already suggests, this design is all about harmony. The pedal waste bin makes a great impression with its soft and emotive shapes and simple elegance.
It’s a match for all modern interiors. Harmony brings an extra helping of convenience to day-to-day life: the ergonomically wide metal foot rail allows the bin to be operated from the side as well. After use, the lid lowers with barely a sound thanks to Hailo’s innovative Soft Close feature, a cushioned mechanism for closing the lid.
Jury statement
This elegant and robust waste bin features a superb form that makes it a perfect fit for many households. It is also notable for its functional, adroitly executed features such as its wide pedal rail and a special mechanism that ensures gentle closing of the lid.
